um, at least she's learning to count?

we already need a time out this morning, and Ella isn't going easy. so I start counting - "ONE....."

"TWO!" she says back to me.

super awesome.

not fond of bed time.

so I just threatened ni-night, and in her quickness to mock me Ella says, "ni-noooooooooo!"

hi everyone! i lived to see the big ONE. here's a little glimpse of my first birthday party - complete with a cupcake bar that i could've cared less about ;)

my first airplane trip to ohio!!

on valentine's day weekend, i took my first plane ride with mommy to ohio to visit grandma & grandpa alkire and the patterson family. happy birthday auntie lisa!! i had such a blast playing with my cousins, gracie and luca. they're such cuties, just like me :) gracie really impressed me with all her running, clapping & kisses... i've gotta work on catching up with her for our next playdate.

i met a lot of people on this trip - auntie natalie, uncle dana, and grandma's friends jo and loretta... that's a lot of new faces for a little one like me!! separation anxiety really set in, and i clung to mommy most of the trip. gee was i happy to see daddy on sunday!!

9 months old

a day in the life of a 9 month old...

i've got that hand-eye coordination thing figured out now. instead of scooping my snacks, i pick stuff up [most importantly food...] with my fingers!!

i clap [one-handed. would that be a slap then??] on anything and everything that makes noise.

i finally like using my sippy cup. no more help from the 'rents needed, thank you very much.

i play peek-a-boo as much as possible. using the shower curtain is the best!!

tell me to dance, and i will. gladly.

oh, and i sing too :)
